Key is a stabilized estimate of nearby audio, not a tuning measurement. Play to detect; seeking clears it. Zero restores original pitch. Large shifts may sound grainy.
Baseline ticks: EQ 0 dB · Filter Open · Trim and channel 100% · Tempo 0% is a separate baseline. Reset preserves tempo, playback and cues.
Vocals Off Stereo center reduction, not AI separation. Can reduce centered instruments too; some vocals remain.

      Prepare an instrumental with AI

Download Windows preparation tools. Extract and follow README.txt. Requires Python 3.11, several GB for the initial installation/model download, and processing time on your laptop. Later preparation works offline with the cached model.

Prepare from a local WAV/FLAC file. Then use + Add local files in the music library to add the finished no_vocals.wav and load or queue it on either deck like any other track.

      Mic setupNot connected
Choose your physical mic. Use headphones to avoid speaker feedback. Recording captures only the mic, even while the board’s Mic button is off.

Connects muted. Use Mic on the mixer board to speak over your mix.

      Live inputs & routing

Deck A input Device, source & buffer

The override uses more RAM. Choose it before connecting; it resets when this page reloads.

      Windows track labels

Read Spotify’s Windows media labels into this deck’s live buffer. No Spotify login. Connect only when this deck captures that Spotify output.

      1. Download Windows helper to a folder you can write to.
      2. Open Windows PowerShell in that folder and run powershell -NoProfile -File .\Studio-Now-Playing.ps1. Leave it running. If Windows blocks the downloaded script, review it and use Properties → Unblock if permitted by your computer’s policy.
      3. Choose the now-playing.json file it creates using the button below. Reconnect after reloading DJ Studio.

Requires Windows 10/11 and desktop Chrome or Edge. Labels stay on this device; timing is approximate. Windows does not supply a guaranteed Spotify catalog ID.

Connects with playback paused. Deck Play/Pause controls playback; Pause input holds captured audio without disconnecting. Audio arriving while input is paused is skipped.

      Long sets

Record a full session in small sections saved continuously on this device. Reopen the full set here, offline or from your private hosted library. Long sets stay separate from the editing timeline.

Ready. Eight hours at 128 kbps needs about 600 MiB of available device space, including a margin.

Keep Studio visible and your device powered. Screen wake lock is requested where supported; a locked screen or suspended browser can interrupt recording. Completed sections survive reloads. Short section-boundary seams may occur with browser encoders.
